Chris Cross served as President of the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) until August of 2006. . As a former family child care provider of seven years, Chris is well acquainted with the both the rewards and challenges of the child care profession. In addition, her work with the Children’s Forum (the state Child Care Resource and Referral Agency for Florida) has given her a unique perspective of the profession. Subsequently, over the past 17 years Chris has been able to meet the needs of many providers, local and state family child care associations, Resource and Referral agencies, licensing agencies and other early care and education organizations nationwide by offering inspirational and uplifting training, consulting and technical assistance.
